Complete two or more qualifying events or paid laps in one calendar year. At least one must be a full-distance Savage Race.
Make it a double: Run Race + Blitz, or complete two full Race laps with a paid registration for each.
Make it a season: Complete two Savage Races, or Race + Blitz on different dates or at different locations, between January 1 and December 31.
Two Blitz completions alone do not qualify, and Savage JR does not count.
Pick up your reward: After your qualifying finish, visit the Syndicate tent beside merchandise for your medal and pins. Earn another Syndicate medal at each additional qualifying event that year.

A shorter adventure with smaller obstacles for younger racers. Run alongside your child and share every muddy high-five.

1 MILE. MORE TO CONQUER.
A longer course with more—and bigger—obstacles for kids ready to take their challenge a little further.
A FAMILY DAY, SORTED.
- Each entry includes a finisher medal, finisher shirt, and two spectator passes.
- Friendly staff monitor each wave, and parents are encouraged to participate.
- After the scheduled waves clear, kids can try again. Younger racers can explore the longer course with supervision.

You don’t have to race to be part of the day. Cheer on your friends and family, explore the festival, and follow your racers to catch the action. Spectators have access to the entire race course. Please keep the marked course path and obstacles clear for racers.

Do I have to be in great shape? +
You don’t need to be an elite athlete. Savage Race welcomes a wide range of fitness levels. Run, walk, or mix it up—your pace is up to you.
In non-competitive waves, there’s no pressure to race anyone or attempt an obstacle you don’t feel ready for. Skip obstacles without penalty. We want you to challenge yourself, but your pace and participation are 100% your choice.

Which race should I choose? +
Savage Race: The full Savage experience. Take on 5–7 miles and 25+ obstacles, with big challenges and plenty of moments to celebrate with your crew. Run for a personal record, or just run or walk at your own pace.
Savage Blitz: Shorter distance. Big obstacle fun. Enjoy 3 miles and 15+ obstacles, perfect for a first adventure or anyone who wants the Savage experience on a shorter course.
Savage Syndicate Pass: One day. Two races. All Savage. Complete Race and Blitz in one day and earn the coveted Syndicate medal. Add $50 to your Race registration. Early start is included.
Savage PRO: Bring your competitive side. Race the full Savage Race course in a competitive wave and battle for awards. Obstacle-completion rules apply.
Savage JR: Big fun. Little Savages. Kids ages 12 and under get their own muddy adventure, with age-appropriate courses, junior-size obstacles, and a finisher medal to show off.

$20 per car, paid onsite. Parking is separate from your race entry.
Can I cancel or transfer my registration?
Registrations are nonrefundable, but plans change. You can transfer an adult registration to another person or change to another event for $30 per registration. Event changes also require payment of any increase in registration price. No refund or credit is issued if the new registration costs less.
Complete your change before your event through My Account. Savage JR and spectator name changes are free and can be handled at check-in.
When will I get my start time?
Choose your starting window when you register. Your exact wave time will be finalized about one week before the event and included in your race-day email, along with your bib number. The Savage Syndicate Pass includes an early start for your first race.
Can I start with my friends?
Absolutely. Have everyone on your team choose the same starting window when registering. If you receive different wave times, non-competitive racers can join the later assigned wave together, before the final start of the day. Moving to an earlier wave requires the appropriate upgrade. Savage PRO racers must start in their assigned competitive wave.
How early should I arrive?
Give yourself at least 45 minutes from the time you park to your assigned start time. That leaves time to check in, collect your bib, check a bag, and get ready for the starting line.
Is there a time limit?
Run or walk at your own pace, keeping the course closing time in mind. Savage Race closes three hours after its final starting wave, and Savage Blitz closes two hours after its final wave. Everyone on the same course shares the same cutoff, so starting earlier gives you more time.
Think you’ll need extra time? Email support@savagerace.com before the event to arrange an earlier start. Savage PRO racers must finish within two hours of their own start to qualify for awards.
How old do participants need to be?
Savage Race, Savage Blitz, and Savage PRO participants must be at least 13 years old on race day. Kids ages 12 and under can take on Savage JR, with courses designed for younger adventurers. Parents are welcome to accompany their children on the JR course.
What should I bring and wear?
Bring your ID and know your bib number and start time. If you haven’t signed your waiver digitally, bring a completed paper copy.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you’re ready to get muddy. Metal cleats are not allowed. Pack a towel and clean clothes for afterward. Rinse-off stations are available, and optional bag check is $10 per bag.
The event is cashless. Bring a credit card, debit card, or contactless payment method for onsite purchases.
What happens if it rains?
A little rain won’t stop the fun. We generally race in rainy conditions, but lightning, high winds, flooding, or other severe weather may cause delays or postponement. Check our Weather Update Center for the latest event updates.
Where can I find my photos and results?
Visit our Results & Photos page and select your event. Results are typically available by the next morning, and photos are usually available by Monday evening.
Race photos are included with your registration. Savage Race and Savage PRO are chip timed; Savage Blitz is untimed.
