RACE DAY STAFF

We’re looking for talented, enthusiastic, service-oriented people to join the Savage Race team at our events as part of our weekend race day staff.

Staff members may be assigned to assist with or manage any wide variety of tasks, from setup and cleanup responsibilities to managing volunteers, assisting with our SavagePRO competitive wave or SavageJR kids race, registration, bag check, awards ceremonies, and more.

A typical weekend shift includes traveling on Friday, working on Saturday (and Sunday where applicable), and traveling back on Sunday evening.

An Ideal Applicant Will:

• be available to work 6 events or more per year. Priority is given to those who can work more events
• represent Savage Race with professionalism and integrity
• be willing to work in a wide variety of roles
• be a natural communicator who cares about people and doing the right thing
• be organized and have a strong attention to detail
• be very willing to learn and grow with our company
• be able to lift 40 pounds

Experience in hospitality and event planning/operations, or construction is a bonus, but not required.

Schedule & Compensation:

Savage Race currently puts on around a dozen events per year. View our event locations here. You must be available to travel and work Friday-Sunday on event weekends. Savage Race will pay for all travel expenses plus a per diem rate for meals. Compensation is a flat rate of $200 per event day.
