Savage Blitz is an obstacle-packed, 3 mile version of Savage Race. Savage Blitz is available at all Savage Race locations.
WHO SHOULD RUN BLITZ?
1. People who aren’t yet ready for the 5+ mile Savage Race course
2. Experienced athletes who prefer a faster course
3. People who want to run Savage Race and Savage Blitz in one weekend to earn their Savage Syndicate medal

The last thing you want to do is a hang a fang in Hangarang. Do your best to keep your balance on these swinging timbers or else you're facing an unpleasant journey to the muddy waters below. Ropes hang from above to help you. If you're a true Savage (and part freak of nature) you'll make it across without them. Completion Rate: 80%
Maneuvering across these poles will really test your grip strength. There is more than one way to complete Pipe Dreams, so pick your style and go for it. Hang on tight, because the steel poles will be swaying back and forth the full 24 feet. Find your rhythm and enjoy the ride. Completion Rate: 54%
Nutt Smasher may look easy, but don't let it fool you. Traversing 40 feet across a 3 inch wooden beam is no simple task. There's a nice cold pool of water waiting for those who can't make it across this beast. There are no hand holds on this one, so make sure you practice your balancing act before race day. Completing Nutt Smasher will leave you feeling pumped! Completion Rate: 65%
Teeter Tuber is a modern take on the seesaw, where you must maneuver up an incline through a 24 inch diameter tube, until you reach the pivot point and then ride the tube down and out the other side. This 20 foot tube is a slippery, tight space that will require technique, upper body strength, and a bit of persistence to conquer.
Completion Rate: 70%This isn't your average heavy object carry. Savages lug over a combined 2000 pounds of lumber throughout a race. Depending on the venue, you'll be sloshing through swamps, trudging through mud, or laboring up mountain sides for 1000 feet. Don't forget, badasses grab two! Completion Rate: 80%
Me So Thorny is the tightest barbed wire crawl you will ever encounter. With barbed wire on top and to the left and right of you, there is very little room for error on this obstacle. Using your upper body strength, you will need to crawl with care. Completion Rate: 77%
Stamina is the key to completing Back Scratcher. With four alternating 5 foot walls and barbed wire barriers to crawl under, you're going to need all the strength you can muster. Upper body and lower body strength will help you through this obstacle. Completion Rate: 82%
It will take 96 inches of determination, grit, and strength to conquer The Great Wall. A running start always helps, but if you prefer a boost from your friends, that works just as well. Get yourself over this obstacle and you're on your way to completing Savage Race.
Completion Rate: 55%

A little twist on the classic up and over, this five foot high obstacle will get your heart pumping and your lower body covered in mud. From the thick clay in Georgia to the sticky peat in Florida, you're going to battle through this obstacle. Good luck running at your normal pace after this one. Completion Rate: 85%
We're having a party! Block Party is a heavy cinder block filled with cement that you have to pull up to a designated station on the side of a hill. That's 70 pounds of dead weight you need to start training for. While gasping for air after the 60 foot rope pull and running the block back to it's original position, you won't even notice the minor rope burn on your hands. Completion Rate: 70%
The tastiest obstacle in the game, Thor's Grundle will leave you covered in mud. Who knew a 50 foot trench filled with mud could be so intense. Take a deep breath before you are completely submerged in the muck going under one of the baffles. You'll thank us later! Completion Rate: 90%
We created Blitz for people who are interested in a shorter distance obstacle course race. A shorter distance version of Savage Race has been a frequent request from beginners and experienced athletes alike.
Yes. But you must run at least one full distance Savage Race in the same calendar year to qualify for Syndicate.
Yes. By running both events in one weekend, you can earn the Savage Syndicate medal and state pins.
Yes on both accounts.
Savage Blitz will feature 15-20 of Savage Race’s premium obstacles (that is at least 5 obstacles per mile on average!) However, Davy Jones’ Locker and any other obstacle with water depth over 6 feet will not be featured.
