The last thing you want to do is a hang a fang in Hangarang. Do your best to keep your balance on these swinging timbers or else you're facing an unpleasant journey to the muddy waters below. Ropes hang from above to help you. If you're a true Savage (and part freak of nature) you'll make it across without them. Completion Rate: 80%
If you ever had to jump a fence to escape that neighbor’s Rottweiler that always seemed to get loose, then your instincts will get you across this obstacle in no time. This is a challenge like no other, forcing you to clench your hands and feet as you traverse on a moving chainlink fence suspended over water. At least slipping off this fence is better than a nip in the ass from that Rottweiler. Completion Rate: 58%
Sawtooth is one of Savage Race's signature obstacles. You can't miss this blue mammoth with it's unique design. The gnarly tooth in the center of the structure has diminished the hopes and dreams of many Savages as they drop 10 feet into the water below. You'll need to start working on those pull-ups to cross the entire 35 foot span. Completion Rate: 40%
Teeter Tuber is a modern take on the seesaw, where you must maneuver up an incline through a 24 inch diameter tube, until you reach the pivot point and then ride the tube down and out the other side. This 20 foot tube is a slippery, tight space that will require technique, upper body strength, and a bit of persistence to conquer.
Completion Rate: 70%It will take 96 inches of determination, grit, and strength to conquer The Great Wall. A running start always helps, but if you prefer a boost from your friends, that works just as well. Get yourself over this obstacle and you're on your way to completing Savage Race. Completion Rate: 55%
Slippery Incline Wall can be intimidating when you first come up to it on the course. Get a running start on this 16 foot long, 12 foot high incline or else you'll be out of luck getting the conveniently placed rope. Occasionally, we'll throw some water onto the ascent to make it more of a challenge. With a firm footing, you'll have no problem getting up this bad boy. Completion Rate: 65%
With 60,000 pounds of ice, Shriveled Richard is no joke. The bone chilling experience will take your breath away as soon as you dive in. It's no time to be timid. To add to the experience, you have to completely submerge yourself halfway through the obstacle. It's time to start taking cold showers. Completion Rate: 70%
Once you've scaled the front side of Colossus, there's only one way down. The Colossus Slide is a near vertical drop at the top of the 24 foot tall structure. Feel gravity take over as you hit lightning speed while being flung into the water below. No training needed for this one. Just enjoy the adrenaline rush! Completion Rate: 88%
A little twist on the classic up and over, this five foot high obstacle will get your heart pumping and your lower body covered in mud. From the thick clay in Georgia to the sticky peat in Florida, you're going to battle through this obstacle. Good luck running at your normal pace after this one. Completion Rate: 85%
A simple, yet challenging obstacle, Missionary Impossible will leave you wet and invigorated. Get on your back and start tugging the rope to fly up the 60 foot hill as fast as possible. A little easier than a pull-up but a lot more fun! Completion Rate: 99%
This isn't your average heavy object carry. Savages lug over a combined 2000 pounds of lumber throughout a race. Depending on the venue, you'll be sloshing through swamps, trudging through mud, or laboring up mountain sides for 1000 feet. Don't forget, badasses grab two! Completion Rate: 80%
